The Meta 5.5 bikes are Commencal's most versatile enduro bikes. The Contact system makes sure that they are as happy going up as they are going down, thanks to perfect geometry and the additional work done to the Fox Racing rear suspension.
Exclusive to the UK is this Shimano-equipped model (the other Meta 5.5's all use Sram) which uses a mixture of 2009 XT and SLX, to be honest this model is the pick of the range.
The frame is completely new, with improved hydro-formed top tube and new reinforcements for excellent rigidity and strength. The more sloping and open geometry means handling that is more fun but still keeps perfect balance, regardless of the fork settings.
With great quality spec, this is an excellent choice for serious enduro!
